The Metro Health Specialists Hospital, Inc. Emergency Department (ED) is an area where patients with emergent health conditions can go to for consultation and management. It operates twenty-four hours a day (24/7). It is primarily intended for patients with life threatening health conditions requiring immediate care. Those with non-emergent conditions can go to the OPD or doctor’s clinic for consultation during weekdays and at specified clinic hours.

The Emergency Department (ED) is the show-window of the hospital and as such reflects the management of the entire hospital. The management should ensure that enough manpower and equipment are available to meet the emergency needs of every patient.
